Maverik Adventure's First Stop

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately, the woman at the counter was very rude to my daughter’s boyfriend, who is from Hungary. She was extremely dismissive, throwing her hands up in frustration and telling her coworker to assist him instead. All he did was ask if his payment had gone through!

The store is clean and well-organized. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Derek and Lance assisted me with my first experience using Apple Pay since I had forgotten my wallet. Thank you, guys!

Maverick has become a valuable addition to our town. The food at the Bonfire is excellent! However, I've consistently encountered rudeness from Kayla Jones during my visits. I usually try to overlook it, but today was the last straw. When I went in for lunch and had paid for my salad, I returned to find her slamming my salad down on the counter and saying, "Have a good day," in a very unpleasant tone. I felt compelled to mention that she could be a bit more polite, to which she responded, "I SAID have a nice day," as I walked away. If her attitude doesn’t improve, customer service may not be the right fit for her.

The restroom was clean, and the restaurant itself, though small, offered good food. The gentleman working there provided excellent customer service. I visited on July 24, 2022.

One day, I wanted to buy my Diet Pepsi and a burrito, but when I reached the checkout, I realized I had left my wallet back at the hotel, several blocks away. The cashier was incredibly understanding and compassionate about my predicament. He set my items aside so I could come back and pay for them shortly. What really impressed me was the next day when the same employee noticed me and another customer heading for the exit. He dropped what he was doing, rushed to the door, held it open for us, thanked us for our business, and wished us a great day. I didn't catch his name, but I made sure to inform the manager about my experience. I really hope he gets recognized for his exceptional customer service. Well done!
