The seafood plate was saturated in fried fish n prawns in old smelly oil. The steak was nice but we didn't come to have steak. Felt we were being rushed. Fabulous view, food very disappointing wouldn't recommend nor return
Average food, slow service, but what a view! I could see Panorama House as a good choice for a large group special occasion. I wasn't very hungry, so I only had a dozen natural oysters. Next time I would try the 2 or 3 course meals. On this visit we were sitting next to two large (and loud) groups. They were so loud that having a conversation was not easy.
Excellent food, view magnificent . Service was good, slow at times but staff were friendly and accommodating
My husband and I chose Panorama House for our wedding. The whole experience was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and guided us toward choosing all the bits and pieces that made our wedding amazing. With last minute bad weather, the Panorama House team had to move the ceremony into a room with 10 minutes notice, but despite this looked after everyone exceptionally well. At the reception all the guests had a great time partying with resident DJ Carl and the venue, food and waiters were superb! I am so glad I chose Panorama House it was the best wedding ever!!!! Thank you Maria, Julie and the rest of the team at Panorama House a highly recommend having a wedding here.
My boyfriend and I were very excited to spend our anniversary here and had booked three weeks in advance despite how difficult it was to contact the business and make this booking as we have tried three other time this year with no luck. When we arrived we entered the main building and found there to be a wedding. When we asked a staff member for directions to the restaurant we were pointed in the wrong direction, walking around in the rain and fog. We asked two other employees and eventually were pointed down to where we would be eating. We were expecting to be eating in the restaurant upstairs where all photos online advertise you will be eating, however, we were pointed downstairs into a small, spare event room with four other tables. There were tables and chairs piled up in the corner of the room like a storage room and from downstairs there was no view at all. On the table there was a tiny candle and a large plastic water bottle no pitcher. Food was very mediocre and was pricey. We were expecting to pay a little bit more for what we thought would be good food but we’re very disappointed. My partner was dissatisfied with his meal. He ordered the ribeye steak medium rare but when it came out it was well done and charred. I expected there to be wine on the menu but was surprised and disappointed to find none. Considering we went very out of the way to come to this venue and didn’t get what was advertised is disgusting. I would expect that the venue would alert customers when weddings would be held as they would not be able to eat in the upstairs restaurant with the views as advertised. Had my partner and I have known, we wouldn’t have bothered. Won’t be coming back.
