The Bay Tree - Blairgowrie

A group of friends and I just came to the breakfast. we were not guests of the hotel. but the staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was great and a good price too. 12,50 €

Good centrally placed hotel, with free parking close by. Our first room, which had an interesting curved wall, but unfortunately had no WiFi connection and after many complaints we moved to a room closer to reception area where WiFi was good. Leisure pool was large, beautifully decorated and had excellent steam room, sauna and deep jacuzzi. Dinner served in dining room, good menu, large portions. Buffet breakfast, served in different dining area, suffered from cooked food being kept warm. Staff very helpful.

Group of 8 of us for a much needed 2 night getaway with a tribute night on the 2nd night. All in a square room which was lovley. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

Terrible experience, no hot water one day, jacuzzi was cold and nothing was done about it for the entire stay and no lunge but uncomfortable plastic chairs by the pool. Spa weekend ruined. Not worth it. Lunch food, fish and chip was ok but the burger at dinner time was not great and chips were definitely re-fried as were soggy and drenched in oil. Shame the location was nice that’s about all there was positive. Rooms: Basic, bed was not very comfortable and the door had a 2 inch gap into the corridor!!! Food drinks: Food was not great.
