It has changed hands a few times over the years but the quality has always been good. I am not sure if my experience last night is a sign of the times; however, the meals were all terrible and the service was even worse although the servers were polite. Personally I’m not recommending this restaurant.
This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant, and the food was equally as good as the 1st time. The Caesar salad was light but very flavourful, a cut above what you are served in most restaurants, and the tortellini Romanoff was nicely al dente and very tasty. Portions are most generous. Service was friendly, perhaps too much so. The waiter was nice, but came over to the table so many times that it was a bit intrusive. Be prepared that it's not at all an intimate trattoria setting; rather, it's more of a bar restaurant with some visible television monitors and music that is a bit loud, but that does not interfere with conversation at the table
Came to this Italian restaurant for a colleagues retirement. We were in a separate area with a predetermined menu. I had pizza which was quite good. I spoke with other invitees which seemed to have enjoyed their meals.I've been to more fancy and more elaborated Italian restaurants with a bigger inventory of menu choices but for quality/price I would recommend.
My 2022 Christmas work party was at this restaurant.Overall for me, it was a pretty good experience at this restaurant. One thing it was very hard to find this restaurant even with a GPS. One of the outdoors lights signs was burnt. The staff was very friendly to us. Nothing bad to say about them. For the food itself, we had a fixed menu a limited choice). It was a nice choices of food to pick out.My entrée was the calamari. They were just ok, not fresh but eatable. Nothing unique about them. They taste like it came from frozen a brand.Other people had soup and salad as their entree. They look kinda generic, nothing special or unique. My group said it tasted okay.My main course was pizza. My pizza was good. You could tell that they make their pizza from scactch. The pizza toppings smell and tasted fresh. Really recommend it.Other people had the steak. Different people gave different reactions to it. Either it was good or not, perfectly cooked or not, either is was served cold or not. Very hard to serve steak with the amount of people we had perfectly, that why I also avoid ordering streaks at Christmas parties. For my overall experience to this restaurant I would give it 3 1/2 stars. Hard to judge this place from different people and my myself. From a barley lit sign to a lacklustre entrée to a real good main course, to a nice friendly staff.Time like these I wish google would give half stars to their reviews. The reason I will give it a 3 instead of 4 is because of the burnt light sign. If your sign is broken, no one will be able to found you. Sorry.
Food is incredible, staff is very friendly, owner (Manuela) is fantastic. They play habs games, tons of screens.
