Green Mill Restaurant Bar - Blaine

I'm glad to be back at this restaurant! I tried the Mill Burger and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo, but I definitely recommend getting one. The portion size was generous. If you're really hungry, I suggest also getting a salad. The Italian Margherita is fantastic - it's a unique twist on the classic margarita with a shot of Amaretto.

It was adequate at best. There was a limited menu. And I had thought it was just a pizza place but there's nothing to suggest that they are predominantly a pizza restaurant. With that said we do not go into the restaurant expecting to order a pizza which I'm sure would have been excellent if that's what we had wanted but we got the nachos and a pasta dish. I guess when you're hungry the pasta was okay but a little greasy for me the portion wasn't that large but I still filled up on it. The biggest disappointment with that was there's no bread offered with it or the choice of soup or salad. The nachos look like something I could have made at home in the microwave just basically chips I think a little bit of hamburger in the middle shredded lettuce and I cannot really remember anything else that was on there and the title of it was bacon cheeseburger nachos I was excited for them but highly disappointed. And for 15 to $20 per item I kind of expected a little more. Other than that the restaurant was nice it was clean the waiter was new and did a excellent job he must have served somewhere else before.

We have had several disappointing experiences at this restaurant. Despite this, we decided to give it another try after a year had passed. I ordered a pizza with one topping changed to pepperoni, and my mom ordered a calzone. After waiting for 30 minutes, our food arrived, but my pizza had no toppings and my mom's calzone had very few ingredients, mostly cheese. The server took our food back and re-ordered it, resulting in an additional 40-minute wait. My pizza only had pepperoni this time. Instead of apologizing, the server seemed to blame us and walked away with an attitude. After nearly two hours at the restaurant without eating and still receiving an incorrect order, the server dropped off the bill and left. We approached the front desk to speak to a supervisor about the poor service we had received. The supervisor only offered a $5 discount on our $70 bill, with no sincere apology or attempt to make things right. While we understand that places may be short-staffed, it's no excuse for such terrible service and customers leaving without the correct order. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful pizza and staff. Deep dish is worth the wait! Though I did pay for extra cheese and didn't feel like there was a difference between the normal cheese and the extra, I normally don't pay to get more cheese but I did this time and was disappointed in that. HOWEVER, it's still amazing and worth every penny, staff is friendly and overworked but great!

The new Greek turkey hoagie is to die for absolutely delicious!! Service is outstanding and super friendly! Love the mug feature.
