The Prince Of Wales Inn - Blaenau Gwent

We thought here was a cooked lunch and were very glad that we did it! it may not look stunning from the street view, but please not be deceived at the best homemade cakes at all! very friendly staff. dog-friendly pub (they even gave our guard some. dog biscuits). all the food that happened from our table looked fantastic. if they would strongly recommend eating something, they will not be disappointed. I would recommend the chicken, asparagus and wild mushroom cake.

Called for Sunday lunch with my 94; year old mother. it was a meaty lunch with a choice of bark or pork. a large selection of sweet and tasty gravy. everything was excellent, eating, service atmosphere. so well we booked to go...the next week.

We were on vacation in devon and came over the prince of wales pub in princetown. good presentation when I ordered a few drinks. we saw a couple of kerle eating and eating, which looked really good. we decided to eat. there are and ordered hunters huh and a homemade barkcake. a word describes everything superb. I've never had such a wonderful homemade cake. completely filled with meat and the gravy was to die. As for the Hunters chicken, my wife thought it was brilliant. many thanks to all the staff for an excellent time. they miss this place on their floor!

My welsh steak chips sizzler was beautifully cooked to my liking delicious. Cheap too! Served in a busy olde worlde bar decorated with local photographs mining paraphenalia.
