Mellow Mushroom Blacksburg

Great food, the bar staff is amazing on the best beer selection in the city. If I want a great pizza and high quality beer, this is by far the best place to go!

We are new in Blacksburg and have heard Rave reviews for this place. We had the buffalo wings and House Special Pizza and we love it!! The staff was friendly and it is a fun place to eat. We will be back for more delicious pizzas.

The food was great. It was very swollen so that apples were brought to my 2 years old twin grandchildren to keep happy what worked well. Pizza was worth waiting.

So as my friend Gordon mentioned earlier, we were looking for the best place to have dinner downtown last night and I know that one of my best friends works at mellow mushroom and heard the food there was top notch so we decided to go here! I requested Courtney and had honestly the most pleasant restaurant experiences I 've ever had. I might be just a little biased because I do know her very well (she is in my profile picture after all), but I saw an additional side order of her that night that I was not expecting. She was so attentive to everything going on around her, and focused not only on fulfilling her role as a waitress, but as a part of the dining experience as a whole. She was always smiling, held great eye contact, always made sure my drink level was never low, well versed in menu options, and efficient with everything she did! She even gave me a pizza suggestion the mellowterranian that has now become my favorite pizza choice by far! I also got to know the manager of the restaurant Brandi, and was able to learn more about her! I was positive she was a Hokie Alumni because of her friendly and welcoming nature, but she is a Chapell Hill graduate who loves the pretty Tarhill Blue! A consistent presence of school spirit whether Hokie or not makes a difference in any college town! She also wears this unique black mellow mushroom hat that has mellow written on the top and I thought it was the coolest thing! My friend Kat also is a waitress here and getting to see her and hear about how much she loves being here was very inspiring to me as well! All in all, I want to give a special shoutout to Courtney, Brandi, and Kat for being a refreshing reflection on what relational building business looks like in Blacksburg and I highly recommend anyone who wants to have an experience as great as mine to come here!
