Blacksburg No. 1

The portions are enough to make 2 meals. This the 3rd time Ive ordered from Blacksburg #1 and each time I order General Taos chicken and pan fried dumplings. The flavors and portions are consistent. I would recommend to others.

We had the chicken fried rice, pork belly ramen soup, and fried Chinese donuts all of it was awesome and huge portions. We also had the seafood with pan fried udon noodles spicy. It was really good too, just a bit too spicy for the person at the time haha

Bad food. Sesame chicken barely has any chicken! Its coated by a very thick caramel and flour layer. The fried rice had way too much soy sauce, the flavor is too strong. The pork belly ramen soup has a fish flavor. I didnt think I would get a fishy broth ordering a pork ramen. Doesnt say in menu. I could not eat it as I strongly dislike fish, could eat the chicken nor the rice. The only thing that was ok was the pork bun. Out of my $50 order the only thing I could eat was the $3 pork bun.

The buns were great, pork bun especially. The Shrimp Tempura Ramen Soup did not have any shrimp! I was disappointed to receive a plain ramen with no shrimp or even shrimp flavor :

Don't let the look of this place turn you away. The food is amazing. We had the Special Rice with Pork Belly and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The pork belly melts in your mouth. This place is amazing. Everything we had was superb. The décor needs work, but if you're looking for good food, this is the place.
