He asked me to pop in for a random Drug search. I asked to see his badge and he told me. he seen me selling drugs!!!! I said I would have a public search with the Manager present. He told me he need to search me in the toilets. again I said lets go to a public place. He then radio for back up and told me the Manager was downstairs. i went down stair and their was only a ticket sell. i left to stop any distress to my company. the door staff member then asked the other door man to check the upper floor then started to verbally abuse me on the door and point to the camera. He still refused to state his ISA badge number. I have tanned skin.
I am amazed at how this restaurant stays in business! I ordered my food and drinks through an app, and an hour later a blonde girl brought out just one main course instead of the starters or the other main course. There was no cutlery on the tables before the starter was brought out. I had to ask two different staff members where the rest of my food was because only one plate came out. Despite the restaurant being beautiful, the way they run their service is extremely disappointing.
We are a darts doms group been friends for years two of the girls was 60 and two was 70 so for 6 months we planned our birthdays We saw viva and we thought that's would great for birthday party how wronge we were got there at 6 30 asked for drinks then from here all went wronge drinks took ages to come no ice then the starters came I had the mushrooms you guessed was cold the at 7 50 meal came lamb shank was okay veg was cold and hard mash was like cement then they decided to turn lights of we had to use our phone light what made it worse show didn't start for 20 mins we left our meals couldn't get any body attention to complain put you wouldn't because they definitely short of staff plates was left on our table for hour and half it was making me feeling sick looking at dirty plates ordered cake and champagne for the birthday girls came at end of night plus we booked a table for 9 then later decided to put 2 strangers on our table if you ask me they overbooked a lot of hard work went in to our special birthday and all I can say to viva a big thanks for making our birthdays night from hell if you are reading this to me a big favour don't go I definitely won't let'this dropp my mission is to let everybody know what we went through and please avoid
Due to COVID my 80 year old Mum and her friend were unable to attend the restaurant they had booked as it was closed. Since this happened I have written several times asking for her money back which was almost £50. This is a lot of money to anyone let alone a pensioner. They said they would credit her for a future event but as time has gone on I have tried to explain that my Mum is unlikely now to ever travel to Blackpool due to her age and the current risks and appealed to them on several occasions for a refund for her. They have ignored me now since September and I feel this is very unprofessional. I have sought legal advice and she is entitled to a refund so greedy of this company to hold on to peoples funds under the circumstances ... really not impressed. All I can do is to keep emailing them but I'm getting no response.
I have just re booked for an event cancelled last year. Spoke to Jill who couldn't help enough. Even though my money had been refunded to my Viva account and ticket prices going up slightly, she honoured last years price. We would have been happy to pay the small amount more considering the losses they have faced but its great customer service to offer to match. Jill is a credit to you, cant wait till we come in August Take care xx
