I called the store to inform them of my mistake as this was a gift for family who were in Blackpool on holiday, (they're leaving before the voucher was redeemable), Leon was incredibly helpful on the phone and helped arrange the surprise afternoon tea to go ahead. Thank you so much for your amazing service and allowing the afternoon tea to go ahead!
I tried ordering the "twice cooked chip" for an additional £2.50, but it was a rip-off. This was the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The quality used to be great 20 years ago, but now it is not worth the money.
A visit to Blackpool feels like a step back in time to the 1950s. Everything seems old and gray, from the children playing on the beach to the hotels. The one shining exception is Harry Ramsden's fish and chips. I can only describe them as brilliant. Opt for the cod over haddock and let the taste transport you back in time, melting away the years of Blackpool.
I tripped out here....in a corner of UK right by the water that feels kind of....forgotten. But we came here to see the site of the famous ballroom competitions. Both got large orders of their fish/chips, because who said that Brits don't have any kind of cuisine at all?! It was great! One of these memories and meals to remember, y'know? Even early-onset dementia ain't gonna shake the tucked-away golden memory of fun times here Ramsdens. Solid fish/chips. Very, very good.
This place is nice with ocean views. The food was good except for the chips. They weren't very good . As if they had been sitting under a heater for awhile . The waitress was awesome , she was polish
