Blackbutt Woodfired Bakery

Pies and pastries are obviously outta this world. But just plain sliced restaurant bread was also sensational. Grains were soft and the freshness lasted a week. If this bread were available in Brisbane...I would buy it exclusively.

OMG hands down the best bakery we have been to. Self confessed Bakery snobs, we scoffed different meat pies/vanilla slice/French vanilla beesting/caramel coconut slice/grannies apple pie. All were an absolute delight. Even mum and dad (in their said “this is just how we...remember they used to be”. So **** good. We would drive from Brisbane to Blackbutt just for this bakery. Don’t drive through the town without stopping. Ohhh and if you’re a coffee snob, yep.. it’s great too. Customer service was also fabulous. Seriously stars.

You can’t go through Blackburn without stopping here. Best pies and slices! Good coffee too. Always crowded, which is wonderful to see in a tiny town. Unfortunately they use mock cream which is unnecessary as their turnover of stock is so fast, so I avoid...any creamy cakes. But with their selection that’s easy, there is so much else to choose!

Friends had recommended this bakery so we stopped on the way through and weren't disappointed. A great variety of pies and sausage rolls all very fresh and well presented. The pies really are a meal in themselves. Their cold display cabinet of slices etc...was one of the best I've seen.

Tasty treats such as there custard slice or even there bee sting slice. Amazing pies such as Rodeo or even there potato pie which where incredible and great prices would recommend.
