The Clog And Billycock

Very quickly treated on arrival and shown on our table. Time given to have a drink and watch the menu. Before our order there was enough time to eat six people together and was hot. The party was not rushed in any way. No complaints about the food or the friendly staff. Only a personal very low feedback I had the ribeye steak, but had to pay for the pepper corn sauce at £2.00 for a very small sauce jug, I would have preferred the sauce to be part of the meal and not as an extra price.

We have dined here several times and it is a reliable good experience. The staff is always pleasant and efficient and the food is high-end Pub duve and much of it. The abdominal pig is especially recommended and the build your own sunflowers!

We love the Clog and Billcock for Sunday family dinner. Service is very good. The staff is always so friendly and polite. I was just a touch disappointed this week with my Sunday dinner, as my Yorkshire pudding was very overcooked and there was just not enough Gravy! I should have asked for more seriousness, and I am sure that the staff would have committed themselves, but as we usually get exceptional food and service, I did not want to appear uneasy. It was still very good and it will certainly not scare us back from eating here.

Birthday meal with family. Very good variety of excellent food well cooked, well presented we all enjoyed our meals but no room left for puddings!

Second visit. First was superb which was why we booked the second. Very disappointed. Service was poor. Food was poor and we had extra drinks added to our bill!!
