Calypso Caribbean

I had booked for 6 of us on the phone. When we arrived they didn't have our booking were quite rude about it instead if apologetic. They then said that they'd probably be able to fit us in. They showed us to a table away from everyone in the corner, it was really cold as well. We were there for my partners birthday so had wanted it to be special but was spoilt. The food was nice, Hannah who served us was lovely did her best to make it a good night for us. Sadly, we won't be going back.

Excellent food as always, we had the Reggae box...loads of food, loads of variety. Thought it couldn't get any better but the Reggae disco blew us away!!! She had every tune we asked for, thanks for a great night, DJ Shazza! We will be back!

Calypso is one of our favourite places to go. The food is always spot on (recommend the mutton curry and red snapper). Good atmosphere and music too.

A works party of 26, all ordered different meals, the food arrived in good time, was piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend !!

What a great family meal we’ve had tonight at the Calypso , Blackburn . The food was amazing , the staff especially the waitress (owners niece) was extremely attentive and friendly . The vibe was chilled which is perfect for families . You need to try the king prawns in garlic . By far the best prawns I’ve ever tried we will be back again soon thankyou for a wonderful evening.
