Well it's not going to win Resturant of the year but it's not bad. If your in the mood for a kickback to the 80s menu and good comfort food it's not too shabby. You doctor would probably frown as there is not too much on the healthy scale on the menu. And you should probably steer clear of the doughnut burger Yep you heard me right two burgers between 2 doughnuts heart attack on a plate. I settled for the prawn cocktail for starters followed by the half a chicken and ribs dinner. : all very tasty and filling. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would come back again.

This place is tinged with sadness, I had my final pub lunch and pints of beer before getting made redundant following a successfull 4-and-a-half years with T S Day Nite Stores in May 2001. I have been back to the pub on several occasions since. It's a very nice pub, decent beer garden, nice interiors, the staff are very welcoming, the service is good, the beer's nice and the food is very good for the price you pay for it, the food menu is very impressive and there is a big screen to keep up to date with the days footballing events. I use the pub when I go to away games at Blackburn Rovers FC, the pub staff were very welcoming towards us and there were no problems at all between rival football fans!

Not as good as it used to be. It seems to change a lot and the food has gone downhill. I used to work Reception here many moons ago and despite the managers then being a bit clueless it did seem better then.
