The staff was extremely friendly, and the food and service were excellent. If you enjoy calamari, this is the spot for you! We tried both the salt and pepper and the chili versions, and they were cooked to perfection, accompanied by great salads. They also have a nice selection of draft beers. I will definitely return!

The dining room is charming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Both the food and service were exceptional, and the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet. It’s excellent value for money, and we’ll definitely return.

We recently moved to Soldiers Hill, and this hotel is just a short walk from our home. Sam, the manager and chef, made us feel incredibly welcome. We enjoyed some beer and chips while listening to live acoustic music and even made some new friends from the area. We will definitely return for a meal and to chat with the locals over another beer. This hotel truly is a hidden gem, with friendly staff and spotless cleanliness throughout, including the restrooms. I can’t wait to have a meal here. It’s definitely our new favorite local spot where everyone takes the time to chat. Thank you, Sam, for the warm welcome!

Thursday is steak night... nice ! The steak was a nice thick 250g Porterhouse, cooked beautifully medium rare as asked. It had a nice crust with a smokey char flavor. I ordered it with the garlic sauce, which came in a small jug and was quite nice. The chips were plentiful and lovely and crunchy and again cooked well, seasoned with sea salt. The salad consisted of various leaves of lettuce and baby spinach, finely julienned carrot, red oinion, tomato, red capsicum and cucumber all dressed in a sweet and slightly tangy mustard seed dressing which went well with my steak. Presentation was very good, on both plates. My wife ordered the vegetables with her steak with a mushroom gravy which she also thoughly enjoyed and were cooked well. All in all a good solid meal and value. The staff where attentive and the meal came out timely even though the restaurant was near full. Many thanks for our enjoyable meals :
