The Dakota Lounge At Ramada - Bismarck

This hotel is not a place I'd want to stay again. There was only one staff checking people in at 4:00 pm- you'd think they'd have two staff during the check-in time- there were 10 people in line. One woman in our group found a pair of underwear in her bathroom (left by a previous guest I'm assuming). One lady had an iron in her room that didn't work. Positives: The breakfast was not awful. In the evening we went to the bar and there was only one bartender- she did a great job for being by herself with a packed bar. The lunch and snacks served for the training was great!

Booked here for a conference, expecting a nice enough hotel, based on pictures on website and the description. It is literally the WORST hotel I've ever personally checked into, especially for a business trip. Ramada customer care refused to let me out of the reservation due to 24 hour cancelation policy. Front desk unhelpful/ uniformed/ uninterested in helping. Broken down cars and drunk people in parking lot . DO NOT BOOK HERE! I felt unsafe and nobody was willing to help me.

If I could give a 0 I would. Rude staff, filthy hotel and they have some nerve charging people to stay here. Most disgusting place I have been in the past year. That's saying plenty since most hotels have reduced service and no longer care about customers. No wonder the travel industry can't recover after COVID.

We had a great convention here May 2021. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was nice and had several charging stations for usb devices, an outlet on the desk for computer charging. The pool is nice and has a climbing wall and lily pads for kids. The hot tub works and the dry sauna works which was really nice. The in house bar had a pretty good steak night. The banquet food was very good. The rooms we used for events were also very good with plenty of tables, chairs, podiums and screens. Overall there was nothing I didnt like here.

They should just take a wrecking ball to this place! I can not believe they actually charge what they charge to stay here. They put me in the back of the hotel through a rear entrance. The parking lot was infested with tweekers and drug dealers. I've never felt so unsafe at a hotel EVER, couldn't wait to get out of there. They do not enforce a quiet time people yelling and screaming at each other in adjacent rooms to mine. It's filthy, decrepit, and poorly maintained. Disgusting place!
