Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

In the two years since I have been here it has gone downhill. The place was empty and yet I had to wait to have someone greet us. Looking at setting looked as if it was mystifying. My food sucked! I was never asked how it was for the first few bites but did call our waitress over for my guests meal. He ordered a med well done hamburger steak. It came more medium rare and way to **** as he cut to the middle. He sent it back and they simply microwaved every bit of moisture in it. It looked like a sawdust patty. The plate was hot but the carrots cold and the corn meal muffin stiff and cold. My meal was not anything like I had two years ago. The meatloaf was overdone on the top and small enough I asked her where the rest was. She said this was the lunch menu. The mashpotatoes were not hot and lots of lumps as if it was a baked potato at one time blended up. The biscuit I swear was raw inside. Very disappointing. Yes I did respond when asked when I was paying my bill. I simply said I was very disappointed since my last visit here. She did not answer and handed me my change. Poor customer service cracker barrel. I will not return coming through town again.

The food was great. It was ready surprisingly quick I'm not sure how that was possible but it was really good. I ordered country fried chicken with masked potatoes, broccoli and corn bread. It's homestyle cooking and the atmosphere is beautiful with a great gift shop as well.

The service was amazing! The staff was friendly and interactive. The store inside was so cute, and the products were high quality. The food was delicious and the service was very quick. We had a party of 8 and we got our food within the hour!

Ordered the chicken fried chicken got the 4-piece fried chicken. Hubby ordered the Turkey dinner with dumplings and sweet potato casserole. Sweet potato casserole was good. Corn bread was not that good. It was ok. Not enough to want my husband to return after his first ever visit to Cracker Barrel.

We ate at your facility on Saturday November 5th. Great food. Great service. However you need to clean (dust) your ceiling fans light shades and wall decor and ledges etc. Everything highly satisfying except clean those ceiling fans etc. please
