Lighthouse Sound - Bishopville

We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation. They were cleaning up after an event. We were the only ones there for dinner. There were clean tables that we could have sat at, but they said, for benefit, they wanted to wait. The 2 for $79 is a very good value usually. The view is my favorite on the DelMarVa peninsula.

Room was very cold. We ate with coats on. 2 ppl in our party got sick. I am sure it was from the rice or the key lime pie they shared. Very nice otherwise. My husband and I both had the crab cakes and they were very good. Dinner took a little long to get. Waiter and manager both apologized.

We love dining at Lighthouse Sound! The service is outstanding and the staff is very friendly. The view of the Ocean City skyline is always impressive and the dining room looks like a lodge with a stone fireplace and it's very spacious with floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the great view sitting in comfy chairs with big tables that are spaced out nicely so you feel like you're only dining with your party! Last night was no exception as our sever Stephen was very attentive and we all had a great time and a delicious meal! Lighthouse Sound is a true gem and we're so lucky to live in town so it's so convenient and we're regulars.

The restaurant atmosphere was beautiful with Christmas decorations of white lights and poinsettias. Our waitress, Autumn, was outstanding and took very good care of us from start to finish. 5 out of 6 entrees were perfectly prepared, rockfish was undercooked even after sending it back. Crab dip was delicious! The major downer for us was that it was very cold which did make the experience a bit of a downer. It's difficult to enjoy eating when you're cold.

I took my family there for dinner. All of the entrees we had were excellent. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. We go here 5 -6 times a year and have never been disappointed.
