La Casita Mexican Cantina - Bishop

I don't know if it's the Sierra Nevada air, the clean water or the Tequila, but this place has the best Chili Verde in California.

Chips and salsa were ok. It tasted like Pace and not homemade, though. No beef products were available when we went. So we ended up getting chicken and pork tacos; tacos could use a touch more salt and seasoning. Service, however, was good. Nice employees.

Always stop here. Awesome food, excellent carne asada, with nice big chunks! Mole sauce is great! Margaritas are excellent. They definitely are not stingy with the tequila!! Overall awesome place to eat.. parking and entrance In the back if you can't park up front.

Good Mexican, had the carnitas dinner. It was tasty, and the frozen margarita was nice after a long road.

The restaurant is older, but clean. Service was really good. Just wish the margaritas were too. Apparently they make big hugs of margaritas for their house margarita. It was not drinkable. All sweet and sour, I could not taste tequila at all. I even tried to water it down and still couldn't drink it. I let my server know and she took it off our bill. The owner came over and offered a freshly poured margarita, I thought I was getting one. I decided to pass. The food was ok. The salsa was not very hot.
