Ecoland - Bishkek

I had been in this region for about 2 weeks before I visited ecoland. I had been eating a lot of nuts and dried fruits. ecoland had a wide variety of vegan options and there were several English-speaking coworkers who helped me find all the vegan items (not everything is vegan.) They even have a small hot food bar where I tried a falafel with tomato sauce (it was actually delicious, which was a pleasant surprise since I had been missing vegan tastes during my time in Kirgisistan camp. I highly recommend visiting this place and showing your support!

Necoland is a vibrant two-room store with a curated collection of organic food and health-focused items, ranging from pantry staples to unique products. They offer a limited but quality selection of vegan options, snacks, and delicious treats, including locally-made chocolates. During my visit, the friendly and welcoming shopkeeper spoke fluent English and generously guided me through the various vegan products in the store, even translating ingredients labels for me. This was especially helpful as I discovered that many items I was considering actually contained honey.

They have a small but good selection of vegan staples, snacks, and treats, including locally made chocolates. On my visit, the friendly and hospitable shopkeeper spoke good English and kindly showed me the various vegan items in the shop, and translated ingredients labels for me. (which was especially helpful since many of the items I was looking at turned out to have honey in them). Recommended!
