Pizzeria Moby Dick - BISCEGLIE

Basic restaurant, good food at a rather cheap price. Not spectacular, but ok. You can eat pasta or pizza

The idea of having a quick lunch before hitting the beach turned into a more leisurely afternoon of sampling great wine and food with Mauro our friendly waiter. The seafood accompanied by local wine was fantastic. Mauro went out of his way to show us what was local to the area and make excellent recommendations.

Me and my wife dined here when we were in bisceglie. It is a typical southern Italian restaurant which only opens just before 9 pm in the evening. We both went fo a pasta as a starter, the waiiter informed us that the choice that we made, could not been served, due to the lack of the fish-ingredient. He could present hus however with another option. It is excellent that they did not serve anything deepfrozen to respect the menu, but rather that what was available on a daily base. As a second we both took the fish of the day. cooked excellently! Bill was very acceptable. we had wine, 2 plates a person for 55 euro. To be recommanded every day ! It was both possible to sit in our outside. They also had a large pizza oven outside.

We had best meal so far on our trip to Italy, food was fresh, cooked to perfection, service out of this world

This restaurant is a bastion of local cuisine. It specialises in typical puglia dishes such as orecchiette alla crudaiola and seafood specialities as well. It has a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The service was nice and gave good advice, pasta came quickly and was really good. The price was very convenient, and we loved the typical look and feel of the place.
