Kong Lam - Birr

The customer service over the phone at this restaurant is awful. The person I talked to interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to book a reservation for a group of 45 people. When she finally responded, I inquired about the interruptions, and she explained that she was fed up with the high volume of calls on a busy Tuesday. She was extremely impolite and dismissive when I attempted to schedule for the following week, and her behavior was unprofessional. I have chosen not to eat at this restaurant again because of the subpar service.

Lady that took my order was so rude and the food was terrible! Couldn't finish food in the end just tasteless and meat was tough and tasteless! Good customer service goes along way! Definitely never going in there again..

Popped in to the Kong Lam as I have visited here before on a few occasions. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food however was dreadful. I suspect it’s microwaved or boil in the bag as there was little or no taste. The chicken for starters was definitely undercooked and the spare ribs were like shoe leather with watered down sauce of some description. The chicken for mains was very stringy and hard to eat and my partners beef may as well have been an elephant with the sauce having no taste. It’s an awful pity as we have had reasonable meals here before and I don’t like criticizing people when there just trying to make a living but unfortunately the food was just ****. Sorry guys but you’ve lost a customer, but thanks to the nice ladies serving. Maybe they should do the cooking.

This has got to be one of the worst eat in and take away restaurants that I have had the displeasure to eat from. The food to say the least was tasteless the main part of the meal ie beef,chicken etc were all undercooked whilst the rice really was awfull.Whoever is the existing chef (perhaps the wrong term to use) I can only suggests should go back to school.

First time trying take out from here and since five of us ordered I got to try a good selection of their food. All good. Particularly liked the hot and sour soup, the duck and the peanut chicken.
