Six Eight Kafe - Birmingham

I absolutely adore this small cafe. The coffee is fantastic, the staff is great, and the music is excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys coffee or is new to Birmingham.

The best chocolate cake ever?. six eight is a nice, fun little caffe. the coffee, the service and the sandwiches are fab, but the chocolate cake? ahhhhhh, I would travel (and do! for such love power. the clintele also seem very friendly. is the guy who compares you unfavorably with dieucks? lol!

The best coffee in Birmingham! I have passed by several times on my way to uni and always admired the quirky botanicals on the board. One day, I decided to go in and now I will never go anywhere else. It is without a doubt the best coffee in Birmingham! The staff is always friendly and happy to have a chat, making it feel more personal than a chain café. The cakes and pastries are always delicious, and the hip atmosphere sets it apart from anywhere else in Birmingham. 6/8 is truly a gem!

Excellent All Round!!. I have developed somewhat of a passion for coffee over the last year and a half and I'm not easily pleased anymore!! I didn't have a great deal of time in Brum this afternoon as I had a train to catch but I couldn't miss out on Six Eight after hearing great things and having seen the Hasbean blog. Six Eight, a very short walk from Colmore Row, certainly lived up to my expectations. The filter coffee was batch brewed so I was skeptical at first but I was offered a sample. I was pleasantly surprised though, it being well balanced and cooling to give a lovely fruity acidity which always brings a smile to my face.
