Pizza Palace - Birmingham

Popped in for pizza while out working in area, really nice decent amount toppings etc very tasty! Would return if in area

So much better than Pizza Go Go which is often go to. We have tried a number of pizza places in the area and found either the base is not very good or they use cheap cheese and ingredients. Though Pizza Palace base was soft not over cooked. Ingredients and cheese spot on and the sauce had flavour.

I visited this place a few times about 3 years ago and at that time I thought the food was OK. I popped in a few weeks ago as I was nearby late and needed dinner quickly. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Good service, everything was freshly cooked in front of me. Pizza base was crispy with plenty of toppings. Chips were crunchy and well seasoned. I enjoyed it, food was good. Very good value for money too, much cheaper than pizza chains. Have been back a second time and it was just as good. I wonder if there has been a change in management as food is definitely a lot better than I remember. Will definitely be ordering from here instead of domino's going forward.

Very disappointed, the pizza base was soggy and topping tasted bland and left funny after taste. The garlic bread was just a baguette cut up and the chicken strips weren't crispy and didn't taste like chicken, the onion rings were very soggy and limp. The only thing I enjoyed was the coleslaw and the chips.Sorry, won't be ordering from there again.
