Omar Khayam - Birmingham

Oasis of bliss. I was on Tuesday for a quick meal, as I always felt at home, but never tried. I was pleasantly surprised, eating was very traditional, eating was hearty, tasty and they could say that the cook puts on it. I had a keema kofta with mushroom rice and a veg naan; was down with a few caught kingfisher camp. I would definitely recommend eating here or bringing the family; it has a nice cozy atmosphere!

It's been a long time since I had such a great, genuine, traditional balti as I had here. Large group of us and we were accommodated really well. Great friendly service. Had the mixed balti and it was perfect; soft and succulent lamb, chicken cooked beautifully and a tasty, nicely balanced curry full of flavour. Thoroughly recommended.

Love the food and the staff, my favourite place to go with my mom and aunty.
