Tried our luck on a crowded Saturday evening and found nice places to sit and eat. The food and choices are pretty decent for the price. The menu is quite international, from Iberian to Latin American to a little MENA food. Chicken Thigh is surprisingly good, with crispy skin. BBQ ribs are tasty, less heavy than the common bbq sauce but with a little sweet chili flavor. Pork belly is tender. Lamb kofta is very flavorful, adequately spiced. Halloumi Fritters are also nice. The sauce has a bright passion fruit taste. Octopus Gallego is not a wow either, but the potato is super creamy. The Estilo Paella tastes good and has good portion of seafood and Al dente rice, but coming in a quality nonstick pan means there’s no more crispy socarrat.. Overall service is friendly. The only thing might be that the tapas plates all arrived at the same time, which was quite a wait for a starving table.

Delighted by the professionalism of the staff here. We attended while celebrating a graduation and found that an allergy to hazelnuts experienced by one of our party was investigated and taken seriously in terms of menu choices. A special occasion was made to feel even more special by our friendly and expert waiting staff. The tapas was divine. A treasure trove of taste and texture ! The Paella was packed with taste and subtleties and was an experience in itself. The restaurant atmosphere was unpretentious, relaxed but smart enough to make it feel quite exclusive. If you are visiting Brum as we were and seeing how the other half lives around The Mail Box!! you should call in for a bite or a cocktail. A really enjoyable experience rendered unforgettable by the care and attention of the staff. We hope to be back perhaps when celebrating a book deal or a Doctorate!! .

Lovely place. Great staff, lovely location on the Basin. Can recommend the Barcelona the Inquisition cocktails, and the fruit punch mocktail. And the tapas was lovely too. We had chorizo and halloumi skewers, meat croquettes and chipotle chicken quesadilla. All cooked beautifully and very flavoursome, would recommend:

First time here and all round excellent. The location was superb, the food was delicious and cocktails were spot on. Staff were friendly and the service excellent.

Great tapas lunch in this busy restaurant. Staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and the portion sizes are ideal for indulging into different flavours.
