Damascena Coffee House Moseley Village

I was looking for a Turkish, middle eastern kitchen and my search ended with this place. I tried chicken sawarma and Kofta wrap. both are too good, loved the taste and the taste of the tahini sauce is too good, all mixed with the right part.

They serve the best coffee we had in one! love the music that plays in the coffee house. tried their mixed cheese baked and loved it simply!

Mention damascena and they will most likely receive a cursed answer as if it were a dirty secret. it seems that despite numerous awards and fair presses, some people would still believe that this is a hidden gem for only those in the know. that's not it. everyone knows that this is the place to come for the best m’tabal and shawarma, they just don’t want to talk about when another hipster gets their place on the majlis on chai sup. and who can blame them – I hate it when my favorite majlis is taken.

Friendly ambiente and beautiful medium-east aromen. delicious mezze humous, babbaganoush, many annoying little bites. Really beautiful unusual blends of smoothies/drinks. had ice cream and tamarinde very different and delicious. smoothies with rich and tasteful date. really beautiful made pastries/balava also. many pistaccio and cardomom taste, but not too fat. friendly service.

This place is fantastic. The people are great, that is, both the staff and the crowd. The food is awesome, had the Mixed Meze which satiated my cravings for Middle Eastern food, and the coffee was good. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the neighbourhood.
