This is a black owned business and admittedly I should have known better. I used the rest room and there was a roach floating there like it was swimming in a pool. Once I got my food another one was crawling on the wall next to me. DIY, and go to Lowe’s they have great pest control products. The staff were really nice to me and my group. Sometimes it’s better to get take out.

I just had the fried chicken plate with okra and mac&cheese with bananapudding. All I can say is, wow, that was some delicious crispy chicken ? 10/10 ?? I dont leave restaurant reviews often, but this place deserves more recognition.

Food wasn't tasty. Baked chicken leg quarter small tasted old. Cornbread dressing wasn't good. Can turnip greens. Candy yams had no cinnamon or nutmeg flavor. Nice workers but very unorganized.

Drove an hour and fifteen minutes away to try this food and got there and they were closed. But did not have it updated online.

When I arrived my food was ready she was alone working so the door was locked I had to wait to be let in. The chicken was fried one piece was fresh the other was refried and burnt did not eat it. I don't have a problem waiting for fresh hot food very disappointed.
