Finally after going to the bar to order a beverage independently, I informed the bartender of the situation. The bartender stepped in and served double duty. After our initial angst, the rest of the evening went without a hitch. The food and atmosphere were excellent, but there seemed to be a huge disparity between the host seating g us and the host informing the waitress staff that we were there.
This rooftop bar is fantastic with delicious food! The Brussels sprouts were amazing, the charcuterie board was excellent, and the truffle fries were the best I've ever had. The burger was also great! Coe, the host, was friendly and charming. Stephanie, our server, was outstanding! She was efficient, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. She made us feel valued and provided a wonderful experience overall. Kudos to the team!
I'll start by saying my girlfriends I celebrated my birthday dinner here last night. Our waiters happened Andrew who be assisting new waitress I am usure of her name but they both were fantastic. He was well versed on the menu and offered great explanations of the menu items. For starters we ordered for the pimento cheese hushpuppied and peppered bacon, which both were phenomenal but the bacon was the star of the show. Our entrees consisted of the half fried chicken which was great and we raved about the chicken seasoning. blackened redfish, with a tasso gravy that was SO good it could've been eating by itself, and the aged NY strip w/wild mushrooms...chef's kiss! Finally for dessert we ate a dark chocolate cake which was delectable and rich and finally the Butter Cake, which was a mini bundt cake, which we all raved about moist buttery, with a crust that we all were figuring out how to how to replicate...truly a conversation piece. The restaurants ambience itself was beautiful and vibrant. I felt like we were I'm an art gallery. The patio was open, but since the weather is still unpredictable, the furnishings were covered, however our waitess help of capture some great photos and the view was amazing. I will definitely be returning!
The dining area was beautiful, although it was a bit too chilly for dining on the rooftop patio which looked even more appealing. The service was more laid-back than expected for a upscale restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, but the wait staff forgot our beverages multiple times and two fish dishes on the menu were already sold out by 7:30 pm. The truffle fries were excellent, and the desserts were decent, although my wife found them to be lacking in flavor. The main courses were not as impressive as one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Overall, the experience was good but nothing extraordinary.
The appetizer, salad and wine were excellent. However the pork chop was very dry and did not have much meat off the bone. The brussel sprouts were good but had no bacon on them
