Full Moon -b-que - Birmingham

This looked like such a cute place. Loved the name and outside. Was close to several hotels. Manager was very nice. Cashier was still learning. Nice to have a draft beer selection and she let me taste 2 before picking.The food was where I had an issue. 3 of us got potatoes. The regular is two potatoes together. Really giant and enough food for 2. But they weren’t hot. The butter and cheese never melted. The skin was so tough you couldn’t cut it with the plastic knives. A big disappointment.The sandwich was loaded with meat and the onion rings were amazing.Not sure I’d go back. Although I will say the drive through was very busy and take out was as well on a Saturday night.

My review is not on their food as it is great. My review is on the drive thru their customer service, which is trash. We waited 32 minutes in the drive thru last night while I was having contractions. I couldn’t get out on line due to the concrete barrier around the drive thru. During this time the line didn’t move an inch, but they finally started to pull people forward into spaces where their food would be brought out to them. I watched one car wait 15+ after being asked to pull in the Space. No cars food was ready and they pulled all 6 cars in front of us up into spaces. When I got to the window, mid contraction, they were annoyed I asked “is my food ready. Can it be handed to me at this moment before I pay”. She said well no. I said forget it. We’ve given this place toooo many chances (we routinely get the wrong food/order, etc) and 32 minutes of sitting through contractions with a 15 month old screaming in the backseat out of hunger did it for us. Refuse to go here again and caveat emptor if you so choose to get in that drive thru line.

Awesome place to eat while in Birmingham Alabama. Food is wonderful and atmosphere is great. They have a great selection of beer to go with whatever your having.Food: 5/5

Ordered delivery with T2Go. Just a BBQ pork plate, with BBQ sauce selected. White sauce on the side. They didn't put any BBQ sauce on the meat at all, and the side white sauce was for something else. The BBQ is unfortunately not good enough to be enjoyed dry. How do you forget BBQ sauce on BBQ???

When I received the order, I checked to make sure there was a sandwich but didn't unwrap it. Once I got home, I found that I had a chicken sandwich. Very disappointed that I paid 9 bucks for something I didn't want and couldn't eat since it had some kind of spicy relish on it. I hope someone else enjoyed that burger. I'm tired of this location getting my drive thru orders wrong. Good luck if you choose to go there.
