Firehouse Subs Homewood - Birmingham

I recently purchased two steak and cheese substitutes, but when I got home to eat them, I was extremely disappointed. They tasted off, and the first bite made me spit it out. I asked my daughter if she noticed anything unusual, and she said no. Deciding to try another bite, I still couldn't tolerate it and told my daughter to stop eating as well. When I expressed my concerns to the manager over the phone, she wanted to argue instead of addressing the issue. I wasn't looking for a refund or a replacement; I simply wanted to inform her that the meat or onions tasted spoiled. She insisted that her ingredients were fine because she had an inspection the day before, so I must be mistaken. In hindsight, I should have been wary when I entered, as no one was at the register due to an incident happening elsewhere. Overall, I give this experience a 0/10.

We always love people here. Very friendly, even near closing time. Eating is always at the point.

I love firehouse subs. Today I'm not sure what happened here. I enter and it's hardly anybody waiting. I go to the counter and I am not greeted people are just working going about that business for a few minutes. Again I'm the only one at the counter order . A few minutes ago bye I go to the restroom I check on some emails write some texts and 10 to 15 minutes later I still don't have my sandwich. I ask if I miss my name and she says well well there's an order of a 100 sandwiches ahead of you. This is crazy and she was the manager by the way. Even crazier is the fact that she gives me the sandwich a few minutes later. The sandwiches cold on the outside warm on the inside. Very disappointed.

I usually enjoy their steak and cheese sandwich. However today their was soo much runny moisture in the sandwich from the wet meat,wet onions, runny extra sauce that the poor bread was mush apon arrival at my table. I tried to eat it anyway simply because I was hungry and the combo deal was wayyy too much a whopping 18 plus dollars. Next time I'll just go get me a ribeye for that price. :

I went to Firehouse subs last night and had the "All involved sub sandwich combo. It was delicious. My only complaint was that they did not give me my dill pickle. The sandwich was delicious and so was the drink and chips. My friend bought my meal. The individual ordered the tuna salad on white bread. They did not ask how he wanted his sandwich and proceeded to put lettice and tomato which was not to his liking.
