Coffee In The Park - Birkenhead

The restaurant has beautiful staff and offers delicious food in a lovely setting where you can enjoy the stunning flower beds and the park beyond. I've visited the café several times recently, but I am really disappointed with the service now. We waited 35 minutes for our toast this past Sunday, and there were also mix-ups with orders for the men at our table. Many customers expressed their concerns about the young girl who was the only one serving at the time; she was incredibly nice and managed to keep a smile on her face despite the stress. Kudos to Charlotte and the rest of the staff who were polite and as helpful as they could be. However, the issues with the back-of-house staff really need to be addressed.

Every time I visit Birkenhead Park, I have to stop for a bite to eat. The café is a fantastic addition to the park and is much better managed than the one in New Brighton. Their ice cream is among the best in the Wirral!

The café in the park is always bustling with activity, attracting a wonderful mix of older patrons, young mothers, and individuals in wheelchairs. The staff is very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While the menu isn't extensive—mostly featuring breakfast items and snacks—the food is quite good.
