It is off the beaten path, but well worth finding if you love seafood. They serve pre-set platters along with specialties such as whole grilled sea bream (daurade). I had the parreillade and it was superb. Service is friendly and attentive. Ample outdoor seating.
Avoid the tourist traps close at the coastal villages, if you want good fresh fish, go to Ostrea, we heave about 25years of experience in visiting restaurants in this region, there are good restaurants but 95% switches to fast tourist food in summer, this one is an exemption, go for it !
You must like fish to come to this restaurant. There is only one non-fish dish on the menu, and that is a faux filet. Everything else is either sea food or fish, either cooked or raw. We're not into raw bars so we skipped the house specialties of enormous platters of shell fish served as both appetizers and main courses. We went the more traditional root with grilled salmon, grilled tuna, and a platter of a variety of grilled fish and shrimp. Every morsel was devoured and we truly enjoyed our meal. There is a fish market next to the restaurant, and a bar where locals like to gather to chat. The restaurant itself is elegant and refined, with excellent service. Reasonably priced too. Loved our evening there.
We were here invited by friends a while ago, and we had quite a good meal. I am not the greatest fan of seafood, but the quallity seemed fine. The location is a bit strange, outside the village, but has ample parling place.
