Restaurant Kogge - Binz

Came here for dinner, and I do not agree with previous TP reviews say service was slow/unfriendly. Our waitress has certainly made her job to our satisfaction (i.e. not over time). Since it was the asparagus season, the choice was obvious, and also delicious. Wine was fair and ambience rustic and genuine with a maritime theme. The only disappointment was the cream brûlée, which did not taste much, and the whip cream probably from a can.

The fish and chips were the most beautiful. A nice restaurant eat inside with the fishing memorandum when disturbed by the outdoor smokers. Unfortunately, the waiter was very slow to take the bill we had to ask three times. Maybe more employees are needed? Good food.

This fish restaurant was very good. The menu includes typical German as well as international dishes. All were very tasty. The portions were adequate for us, but might not be enough for more hungry people; I recommend ordering an appetizer. The value-for-money could therefore be improved. The service was exceedingly friendly and very casual. The restaurant belongs to the Hotel Deutsche Flagge (see corresponding review here on tripadvisor). However, one can enter it without passing through the hotel, and so it does not have the feel of a hotel-restaurant.

Wir haben uns in der Kogge sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen ist sehr gut, dazu noch ein sehr gutes Bier und zu guter letzt ist das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn wir mal wieder nach Binz kommen, steht ein Besuch in der Kogge garantiert auf unserer Hitliste.

Zwei Essen an denen es nichts auszusetzen gibt! Der passende Wein dazu und alles war lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
