They appreciate the charming nooks and unique atmosphere of this 14th-century coaching inn. There is ample seating available both indoors and outdoors. The old beams add to the character of the space. The food is excellent, and the beer is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our meal! We started with the chicken wings, followed by the sea bass (which they kindly substituted for a tuna steak), and then had the venison. Everything was delicious! The service was very attentive and they helped me with my allergens. The kitchen was also happy to modify my dish, and it still came out beautifully. It was the most wonderful meal we've had in a long time!

I had a lovely family meal to celebrate my birthday. We sat outside under a covered area despite the weather, and it was wonderful to enjoy our food while watching the rain from a dry spot. The food was excellent, and the service was also very good. I had the squid as a starter, followed by the chicken supreme, and I enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Many outdoor seating in a belligerent, with palm and central water feature, feels like they are on holiday. a big curse.

Fabulous meal on Saturday evening. Just a quick visit to the area, would love to visit the Stag Hounds again should we pass through the area again. Great service. Drinks pricey though! Food great. Staff lovely.
