El Rancho - Biloxi

The salsa is fantastic, and the chicken tacos topped with cilantro and onion are incredible—so packed with flavor! I hadn’t visited this restaurant since I was in middle school, and returning today did not disappoint. It's a bit of a drive for me since I live in Saucier, but I believe it's definitely worth it.

The lunch menu offers great value for money. The atmosphere is enjoyable, with seating options that accommodate both tables for two to four people and booths, as well as larger groups. The service typically takes a few minutes; it's not the best choice if you're in a hurry, but you can usually get in and out within an hour. The staff is friendly, and the food is quite good.

We visited for lunch, and the food was excellent, particularly the rice and beans. The service was prompt, and they even allowed us to change seats after a nearby couple was being disruptive. I highly recommend the taquitos, beans and rice, and the enchilada. The beef taco is also tasty. We will definitely return!

We ate there last night. I wanted to go there again because I used to go there all the time with my friends 10+ years ago and enjoyed myself. I wish I had not gone. First off, it took the server almost 10 minutes to greet us and take our drink order. Shelooked busy but truth is, the place was not busy at all. The chips looked and tasted like the chips from that $2 bag you see atWalmart. My margarita which was $5 on the special board tasted like straight margarita mix. I'm really not sure if there was anytequila in it at all. Our server was so quick when we tried to order, it was like she had a place to be and then would run backto the kitchen. We rarely saw her and she never brought our guacamole dip that we asked for, for our appetizer. And last, myboyfriends enchiladas were hard, like they were old or had been left in the microwave too long. Big time bad experience. Myboyfriend is an excellent tipper and when he told me that he was not leaving anything I was surprised, but shouldn't have beenin this case. IT WAS HORRIBLE.

It's been a while since I last visited but the food was still good and the prices still very affordable. The booths here provide a measure of privacy that most restaurants no longer have. The bar section is on the far side of the restaurant from the generalseating area so it was the perfect spot for a quiet lunch break before heading back to work. Definitely a spot I'll visit againin the future. Ps the lunch special fajitas were delicious, but a but messy to eat.
