Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Billings

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. During my visit to Great Falls, I wasn't very impressed, but the experience in Billings was quite different. The restaurant was clean, and everything I tried tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially considering the cafeteria-style setup.

Everything was great overall, except for the beverage area. I recognize that they are undergoing some changes, but there were no lights at all in that section. The only light available came from the parking lot outside.

This restaurant serves the best Mexican food around. I’m always satisfied when I dine here. The wait can be a bit lengthy, but it’s worth it for such amazing food. I highly recommend this place!

The food is always great and people are generally nice, but my food is always wrong and late when you order online. You need to triple and check the waiting time. That means I'm in agreement from now on. It's usually worth it.

I want to love this place more. I used to eat here religiously... but After the solid crew that had been there years left, everything quality left too. I haven't been back in a year, the place was so gross, kitchen gross, like we can see it so you'd think it would be better. I got a quesadilla that is normally worth while, I should have went to taco bell.. my tortilla was the correct size, it wasn't even round..thick. cut and looked like a complete massacre. Then a week later we tried it again, thought fluke, no even dirtier ... people looked like they hated being there my food was still not up to company par and was just a huge cry from what I know it CAN be.
