This restaurant, located in an old hotel in Billingham, offers delicious food at great value. The owner informed me that they have been running the restaurant for 50 years! We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and found a nice, relaxed atmosphere with only 4 other tables occupied. The lunch menu is very affordable, offering 3 courses for £6.50. My parents had the soup of the day (minestrone with a bread roll), beef with vegetables, and ice cream with pineapple for dessert. I tried the Peking duck from the regular menu, served with chips. We also had tea to drink. The service was excellent and the bill at the end was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for a casual weekend lunch and to support this local establishment.

I opted for the Peking beef from the regular menu, which was not battered or crispy, served with chips. We also had tea to drink. The service was excellent and the final bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by for a laid-back weekend lunch and supporting this local gem.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I was pleased with the lovely, quiet, and friendly atmosphere. I ordered the chicken and mushroom curry with boiled rice, while my wife ordered the Cantonese style Chow Mein. Our food was cooked quickly and brought to the table within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant and would happily recommend it to others.

We ordered two main courses, two sides, and drinks for under £30. The food was delicious and served hot. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.
