My wife and I made our second visit last week in this restaurant. what brought us back was the excellent eating fantastic fat and tasteful soups, homemade brot and desserts, great sandwiches, best and freshest salatable in the flathead valley. this second visit will be our last visit, however, as the owner of this facility leaves much to be desired. when they approach the counter to place their order, they are greeted by an annoying and annoyed smirk and cold silence that rivals the snowfall outside. not a single word of greeting from this young lady not hallo, how are they, welcome in my restaurant nothing but a impression of contempt that they are in their presence. I asked her how her business had done in the run of the year since we last visited, and her answer was a very terrible, we are still here. again no smile and a great dosis of joy. we ordered our meal with two Decaf coffee and asked a cup of water to go with it. we only sell bottle water was their snide answer. we paid for our meal, and again not a single answer from this frigid fish of a restaurant owner more than we did to her please by being present. no hope they enjoy their meal, thank you for eating with us nothing. we gathered our eating together from the various coolers that row the square and sat on a table to find explicit printed instructions there, as we were expected to clean our tables when finished. we then used our coffee from the thermos, which was best warm, and flat from cold, as soon as they kept creamier from the opened Quart-Kartton in the same cooler. we finished our meals with the teapid coffee, and my wife fixed another cup and took it to this woman without a word or an emotion. she shook that she could make a new pot or reheat the pot in the microwave by clarifying him to whom my wife had agreed. after two zappen the coffee was finally warm enough, and the owner was saved to make a fresh brew, even if it was in this time at midday. So, my advice is to skip this place and its schnapps, haughty, condescending, and better than you owner. if they spend $20 for lunch, can they expect at least one cup of water and warm coffee, can they not, much less a hint on a smile? there are many places to eat in the Flathead Valley, why spend money to be conned?
We are total fans of all grateful brot in big fork, montana. we spent a week rehearsing the delicious menu and could not get enough. we can't wait until we get back to the rehearsal. we even have one or two recipes for trying to duplicate back to home. thanks to grateful bread hope to be back soon, in real estate search!
The food can be quite good. Service, not so much. Recurring serious problems with getting our order straight caused us to quit going here.

We gathered our food together from the various coolers that line the place and sat at a table, to there find explicit printed instructions on how we were expected to clean our tables when finished. We then self served our coffees from the thermos, which was luke warm at best, and flat out cold once you added creamer from the opened quart carton kept in the same coolers. We finished our meals with the tepid coffee, and my wife fixed herself another cup and took it to this woman of no words or emotion. She grumbled that she could make a new pot or reheat the cup in the microwave, emphasizing the latter, to which my wife agreed. After two zappings the coffee was finally warm enough, and the proprietress was spared making a fresh brew even though it was about noon at this time. So, my advise is to skip this place and its snide, haughty, condescending, and better than thou proprietor. When you spend $20+ on lunch, you can at least expect a cup of water and warm coffee, can 't you, much less some hint of a smile? There are plenty of places to eat in the Flathead Valley why spend money to be sneered at?
