Sierra Mar - Big Sur

Beautiful space with a beautiful view that was marred by guests standing next to us taking selfies for much of the evening. Minimalist space that lacked vibe or aesthetic point of view. Service was excellent but the space was cold in temperature and atmosphere. Food was interesting and well executed. Walk to the restaurant was dreamy and enchanting.

Hands down one of the best meals we've ever had. Everything was exquisite from the picture perfect views to the garden-fresh cuisine to the attentive and thoughtful service. Counting down the days til we can make it back there!

View was amazing and it was a treat to visit. The lunch entree was not very good and they took care of me upon letting the server/manager know. Please attend to this, you have so much potential to match the food experience with your amazing setting!

My one suggestion is to slow the presentation of the courses down as we felt rushed. Also the clearers were polite but kept interrupting our conversation to see if they could clear. It was not busy so no need to rush the meal.

The view is spectacular but place is in bad need of a refresh. Entrees were not very good and there is no excuse for that when you only have four choices on the prix fixe menu. Disappointing overall.
