Alamode Cafe - Big Rapids

The dining experience was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable! The quiche meal was on special for just $9.99! The restaurant is located in a beautifully converted old house that adds to its unique charm. We will definitely return!

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was great, and we only waited one day for our meal. Our server was friendly and had a great personality. However, there was a very long wait to get a table, which was disappointing. It seems they're short-staffed. Additionally, we were hoping to try their famous pastries, but unfortunately, they were sold out.

We were on our way to the airport and decided to stop for brunch. When we called ahead, we were told there would be a 15-minute wait, which fit perfectly into our schedule. However, we ended up waiting for an hour, and we really didn’t want to spend that much time waiting. That said, the food was fantastic and plentiful! I had a veggie quiche with five different fresh vegetables, served with delicious sausages, gravy, and roasted potatoes. My husband ordered a huge pancake served with eggs and sausage. Our waitress, Amy, was incredibly sweet and did her best to speed things up. The delicious food and her excellent service made the wait worthwhile.

Looks very deceptive. do not support their decision to stop here from outside, we have done almost that, but based on the previous reviews decided to try it. so glad we stopped. the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was so juicy, that was delicious and fresh. Our favorite Big Rapids restaurant was far to breakfast. have not tried to lunch, but cannot imagine we will be disappointed.

I really wanted to like this cozy little place, but after we received what we thought was our food, and it was not. It was hard to get past.The server was really struggling to remember peoples orders. Quite a long wait.I do want to note when we arrived there was a very rude customer being aggressive with the server trying to get the cost of his order reduced (opinion when it appears he can easily afford) made me very angry and uncomfortable. I'm am so sorry to that server (who handled that with grace even while she was shaking)! No person should be treated like that! Server's are human too!
