Osteria Due Cuori - BIELLA

I went here on an evening in Biella. It's inconspicuous but beautifully decorated and comfortable inside. The staff was super friendly and spoke English. The menu itself was a little hard to order from because it was only in Italian. There were a lot of food options and I had pizza and dessert (tiramisu). Everything was awesome and I'll certainly be recommending the place and going back myself next time in Biella.

We dined al fresco today at Due Cuori. We had pasta and dessert (which tends to be enough in Italy for us). I ordered the agnolotti which was absolutely divine. My partner said that his gnocchi was the best he had ever had! All the desserts were homemade too. The chocolate torte was incredible. What made the meal even more enjoyable, aside from the beautiful old town surroundings, was the utterly charming owner. She was fabulous and patient with our limited Italian.

There’s good reason this restaurant is so highly rated. The awards filling the window beside the door were an assuring indication of the delight in store for us. The menu is small, which in my opinion is a sign of culinary curation. We sat outside, although the ambiance inside appeared quaint and convivial (you’ll probably need to book to get a table inside). The food was top notch, as was the service. We only had a light lunch. I had the ricotta gnocchi, my partner had the agnolotti. Both were simple, yet delicious dishes. The gnocchi and pasta were freshly made. Our desserts (torte di chocolate and torte di pere e amaretto) were also very enjoyable. Our server mentioned that they were all made in-house. We had a bottle of local Nebbiolo red wine. With a lighter, more delicate flavour profile, it was a great pairing to our dishes. We are in Biella for a month and shall endeavour to return until we have had the whole menu. Delizioso!

Ristorante molto bello. ottimo pranzo, ogni flusso squisito! servizio competente e gentile. davvero consigliato! Prendi il vitello, è delizioso!

Ogni volta è sempre un piacere per il palato. Per me il miglior vitello. ottimi vini di qualità. una garanzia. in estate con tavoli all'aperto il servizio è un po' lento.
