Buffers Tea Room - Bickleigh

They've been here for a few years. it was never disappointed. eating is excellent, inexpensive. the personal is always welcoming. the shop has expected a full of goodies. great for this special gift.

Extensive menu, great portions, lovely staff, only downside is the service is a little slower than would be desired. There are two lovely peacocks on the premises so keep an eye out and the gift shop has everything you’ve ever needed for that person who is always hard to buy for. Check out the water mill at the back with local folk yarns on a nearby wall. Worth a visit!

Another place for the family to visit. There is a small railway station and train for the children to enjoy. There is also a shop on site at the station. Close by is an excellent bistro style restaurant and a fascinating shop inside. Plenty of seating outside and an overflow car park so there is plenty of parking spaces. Over the small and narrow bridge there is another large restaurant with a sizeable car park. There is a decent sized area to sit outside that over looks the river. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Good craft shop, with lots to browse and buy. Nice cafe with seating inside and outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also a peacock in the garden who was happy to show off his beautiful tail feathers.

Bickleigh Mill just off the main road and so easily passed. A jewel for a quiet 5 minutes. Good ambience ever helpful staff and good well prepared food portion sizes. Well worth a visit wether you make it a destination or are just passing and fancy a treat.
