We were there on a Friday evening as soon as it opened and within half an hour every table was full. We had calamari for starters and lamb as main course. It was...all delicious. The bill for two people with two beers and two glasses of wine was 70 euros
Our surf instructors suggested this place. We wanted local and not fancy. This was the right place. Staff was accommodating, especially since none of us spoke French. They helped with the menu translation, pushed us to order the nightly special, which was fresh turbot, and...seemed to really enjoy our group. The mussels were fantastic. Small, fresh and full of flavor. The pork dinner was also delicious. And I'm told the baked potatoes were tender and soaked perfectly in butter!
Well priced (for Biarritz) we had a light dinner of moules, croccettes and a few other basic tapas dishes. Nice flavours and everything was fresh and well seasoned. House rose was well priced and good. Not the nicest location to sit outside as it's on...a roundabout, but good, lively, vibe inside.
An establishment with a warm atmosphere and decoration, some of those found in the ciderries. The staff will want to exchange with you on the city of Biarritz that they know by heart. The chef offers very good quality Basque specialties. The list of wines is not given but the first prize is quite the road. A curiosity: the spicy sauce with multiple flavors that marry particularly well with the beef coast. Avoid walking from the city centre because parking spaces are rare, especially in the summer. The Tantina de Burgos is an institution in Biarritz that should last for many years for the greatest happiness of Basque specialty lovers.
Welcome despite the late hour. We tasted very good incornets as entry and main dish. Okay. I recommend without hesitation.
