Coffee Ekia - Biarritz

From now on, Coffee Ekia will be my way to breakfast or fast lunch in Biarritz. The food is great and fresh (big scream from the delicious banana bread)! Iced Latte is made with care with tasteful coffee. Team is beautiful, always helpful and makes everything possible to make you feel welcome! I highly recommend it.

We came here by chance and it was amazing. The new owner was very friendly and the other employees who told us that they were only open for 2 days, but they were where they were running as if they had been open for longer. The coffee was great and a beautiful fact is that they roast their own beans! If we ever come to Biarritz, we will be sure to spend more time here:

Coffee is mostly great but can be off. The food is overpriced and no love is put into it. Got the croq sandwich which consisted of some dried out toasted brioche a small bit of ham and cheese somewhere inside. Fine if I was buying from a convenience store but this was 9€. That was really what pushed me to make this review. This is not a rant but hopefully a push for things to be better. Biarritz is getting new spots by the day so mediocre won’t do anymore.

Last year I was happy to be here, so I returned this year. Unfortunately very small portions. I'm not an esser of big portions (only 1.62 and female... and still I wasn't fed up. Price/performance is not true (more! . Shame, I decided this year for this one-time visit.

Very good cappuccino! The espresso was strong and full of flavour. The temperature was right and the milk was well steamed. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service friendly.
