While I've heard great reviews from friends regarding the food, I decided to stop in late one morning for a croissant and coffee. The place has got a great vibe, attentive and friendly staff, and is spacious. I can see myself using this place as a meeting point for friends. There is a small street parking lot just outside, but you can access this easily from the tram stop on the river a short walk away. Next time, I'm going to try the crepes!
Chez Marion looks amazing, really nice decor, and the two servers are very friendly....only problem is the food. I really don't mind paying 32fr (about €30) for a hamburger, fries and coke....really i don't but i had it in my head that it would be something special, which it really wasn't. Mcdonalds style fries with way too much salt and a fairly tasteless mcdonalds style hamburger. I honestly don't know who pays for this more than once? Well it won't be me. (You do get some complimentary nice bread and oil). Two other things, you don't get a glass of water, and you are solicited for tips when paying by card (i don't like this!)
Walked into this place having spend 30 minutes looking for a good place to eat. Very friendly service and nothing was too much trouble. Nice 'French' food and interior architecture. Really worth a visit if you have a yen for the Paris café experience (but with friendly people!)
We had limited time and needed lunch before another appointment. Staff were most understanding and accommodating. Loved the pate!
A little bistro at the corner of the street. Simple menu but good light bites. Most impressed with the two waitresses who were always smiling & helpful.
