The Yacht - Bexley

Devon provided excellent service behind the bar. I also commend Greene King for their outstanding allergy app. We were served quickly on a sunny Friday lunchtime. Excellent experience!

We celebrated a birthday lunch for 6 people at this restaurant. Our table was prepared and the staff were friendly with quick service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We have never been disappointed with our meals here. The only downside was the strong odor of sewage as we walked in.

Our reservation at the local pub had to be canceled due to technical issues in the kitchen, so we ended up at the yacht instead. From the outside, there seemed to be a lack of care and attention to the food and drinks. The wait times were over 45 minutes, even when it wasn't busy. There was a lingering smell of used cooking oil as we sat down, which didn't go away all night. When we ordered cocktails, we expected some effort in the presentation, but it was lacking here. The food was mediocre, with the crispy mushrooms and onion rings being soggy. The steaks were not cooked well and lacked flavor. Overall, the experience was disappointing and we won't be returning.

A very nice time was had by all, the time we were the service and the staff was excellent I must make a special thanks to Harriet who was very helpful in serving us and making sure everything was ok.

Went here with some friends today and the manager Alex went over and over above to accommodate us. Always appreciate good service! He even refilled the soap dispenser in the men’s toilet as soon as we asked, most managers would have just told someone else...to do it. Thank you Alex.
