The curtains in my room were falling off their hooks and despite reporting it, they were not fixed. The bed was too soft, making it difficult for me to sleep. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, providing great information. Susan at breakfast was outstanding, displaying patience with some unruly children, one of whom even tried to escape through a fire exit.
I have stayed here many times. The position is within easy walking distance of Bexley making eating out an option. The hotel itself is a standard holiday inn. If your eating out in the area try The Miller and Carter for a great steak (Book! or Ferrari's in Bexley for Italian.
I stayed at this restaurant over the weekend and I will not be returning. Children were running up and down the corridors at 1 am, which was disruptive. Additionally, my neighbors had their TV volume at full blast. I reported these issues to the front desk, but they only answered the phone on the third attempt after multiple rings. Overall, it was not a pleasant overnight stay.
We visited a large buffet restaurant near Falconwood Cemetery after a funeral. The food selection was good, tasty, and was constantly replenished. The only downside was that the dining room lacked windows.
This venue is an amazing place to have a wedding. The atmosphere , garden , ceremony room, meal and dancing were all wonderful. The staff couldn't do enough to help and make everyone happy. We also stayed the night and the rooms were very good. As was the evening meal and breakfast.
