The Ferguson Fawsitt - Beverley

Food drinks: We visited the Ferguson Fawsitt twice during our short break in Yorkshire. The first time was just for drinks and the second time for food and drinks. The pub is a lovely, cosy place with a woodburner and several different areas. The pub is dog friendly and the staff welcoming and very friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced as was the food. I had the haddock and chips and my wife had the lasagne. Both were excellent, home cooked and a long way from the standard achieved by the majority of pub chains. Highly recommended.

Only went for a family meal mid-week. Service and food very good, my only gripe was my dessert came out on a greasy dirty plate, but I didn't complain, for a change, it was microwaved sticky toffee pudding, and they had run out of custard so had to have cream. Food drinks: Good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and alcohol free, as expected in a pub. Food very good, and large portions. Service: 4

Lovely place, dining tables spread out rather than being close to the next table. One part being a bit more cosy with a fire place with a roaring warm fire. All the staff very friendly and service was good. Food and menu good. Really enjoyed and pleased.to find , The dinner and the surroundings were great. Finally there is ample car parking.
