Happy Joe's Pizza is the best pizza ever with the best and ONLY pizza you can call TACO Pizza. If you haven't tried Happy's yet, don't waste your life anymore. Go to your next happy Joe. Order it delivered throughout the country if you need. Of course it will cost you; but if you can't wait until you're back in a Happy Joe's town, it's worth the money. Depending on your obsession. Mine is very high for my Taco friend.
Great food and service. By far my favorite happy joe's location
Had the lunch buffet. Been 20 yrs since I had been there. Still good
Growing up in Bettendorf, I've eaten a lot of Happy Joe's. It was on the regular weekly pizza rotation in my family, we hung out at this Bettendorf location frequently in High School...I think I even had a birthday party or two here. The space has definitely changed over the years. Gone is the arcade, the train that goes around the top of the main dining room, and many of the other features that I remember the space contributing to a fun, child like atmosphere. In place of this are clear cut looking tables and booths, reddish beige walls throughout...generally the space looks like it grew up, just as I did (or was supposed to, at least). The thing that definitely hasn't changed is the food and service. I knew exactly what I wanted on my latest visit a pepperoni pizza on original crust. The cashier took my order, I paid, and I had my pizza within 15 minutes. It was exactly as I remember from years ago the crust holds firm on the bottom, the cheese has a characteristic taste that only Happy Joe's pizza has...just what I needed at the time. This location definitely has put Christmas in the metaphorical rear view mirror though. It's only a few days into January and they have Valentine's Day stuff up, including some XOXO letters hung across the ice cream and a table adorned with a heart patterned table cloth, heart shaped plates, heart adorned cups, rose petals, and other Valentine's accoutrement. Definitely feels a little early for this stuff, maybe even a little weird that it's there in the first place, but it certainly was interesting. I'm glad Happy Joe's continues to maintain their presence in Bettendorf and the greater Quad Cities Area. It's not always what I crave for pizza, but it's nice to have as an option when the craving hits. Thanks Happy Joe's!
When you are in the quad cities you have to try this local favorite. They make great pizza and are the original home of taco pizza. But all of there specials are great!
